Women working in Sunyani’s informal sector, especially those running small and medium-sized enterprises, continue to face steep barriers to financial inclusion. High interest rates, limited access to credit, and gaps in financial management skills keep many trapped in unstable income cycles. But a new initiative is helping to change that narrative.

Skills4Inclusion Project Graduates 50 PWDs and Returnees to Drive Inclusive Economic Growth in Sunyani

The programme combined certified vocational training with entrepreneurship development, financial literacy, digital marketing, customer relations and business mentoring. Participants received training in pastries and bakery production, soap and detergent manufacturing, cosmetology and bead making, enabling them to transform their newly acquired skills into viable businesses.
